You don't need another list. You need to know what matters right now.
The Anchor Lab Space helps Miami-Dade students and families cut through uncertainty, information overload, and scattered resources — and helps schools and organizations connect students to the resources they already have.
We don't replace what already exists. We help students, families, and schools actually find it, understand it, and use it.
Three ways families and schools work with us
Every student's path looks different. Here's where most people start.
You're not missing information. You're missing a way to make sense of it.
Between your counselor, Google, family opinions, and social media, you've probably heard ten different things about what to do next. We help you cut through the noise, figure out what's actually true for you, and turn it into a few clear steps.
- Make sense of the college, trade, apprenticeship, and work options already in front of you
- Walk away from every session with next steps, not more homework
- A steady, judgment-free space to think out loud
You don't need one more resource. You need to know which ones actually apply.
"Are we behind?" "What should my junior be doing right now?" "How do I support without taking over?" You're not the only parent asking. We help you see clearly where your student stands — and connect them to what your school already offers before you look anywhere else.
- Understand what your school already offers — before paying for something else
- Get a clear-eyed read on where your student actually stands
- A steady second opinion when it's hard to be objective about your own kid
You already have the resources. We help students actually find and use them.
Miami-Dade schools and community partners offer real, valuable programs — CAP advisors, CTE pathways, dual enrollment, TRIO, Take Stock in Children, CareerSource, and more. The challenge usually isn't a lack of resources — it's that students and families don't always know what exists, what applies to them, or how to take the first step. We work alongside your team to connect the dots and help students actually activate what your school and district have already built.
- Student workshops that map existing resources to real next steps
- 1:1 coaching for students referred by counselors
- Professional development for Mental Health Coordinators and student support staff
- A clear, student-facing way to see what your school already offers — all in one place
Not sure where to begin? Start here.
Answer a few honest questions — for yourself, or so we already know a bit about you before we talk.
A real tool, not just a conversation.
Every student walks away with their own Anchor Roadmap.
Your Anchor Roadmap maps out who you are, what's confusing you right now, and your Next 3 Actions — the specific, doable steps that actually move you forward this month.
- Anchor Compass — a short strengths & interests exploration
- Now / Next / Later — what matters this month vs. later
- Your Support Map — the people and resources already around you
- Your Next 3 Actions — not 30 things, just the right 3
